Pousada Marvão

It all started in the 40s, when the Portuguese State promoted the first

construction of Inns in idyllic places in Portugal, which included Marvão. In this sense, the Marvanense Jeremias da Conceição Dias, a prominent figure in the village of Marvão, gave the suggestive name "Ninho D' Águias" to what is now the Pousada de Marvão. In 1992, it underwent expansion and remodeling works, offering 28 double rooms and 3 suites, currently offered by Pousada de Marvão.

In April 2024, Pousada de Marvão will now be managed again by a Marvanense – Jorge Rosado.
